    Green Rouge

"I built a bunch of leather strops recently, and I was looking around for something to charge them with. I picked up a brick of Green Rouge. Easy to apply to the suede side using a simple crayon technique --- no oil or heat gun necessary. The strops look great. Maybe a little pricey, but the brick will last me many years. Highly recommended!"

    Q&A

After using the suede side of the strop with the green compound, should the leather side be used? Or is the suede/compound combination the final step after using the white and black honing rods?
Hey Nishant. Thanks for the question. We usually do use the leather side after the suede/compound side to give it a finishing touch. Have a great day.
What grit or micron is this compound?
Hey Rory. Thanks for the question. It is around .5 micron or 30.000 grit equivalent.
What is the volume of this bar?
It's not marked on the package but it's about 35 cm tall, 13 cm long and 5 cm wide. The sides are angled. It weighs 448 g
